After undergraduate study, practitioners of Oriental Medicine enroll in a graduate professional master's program which is 3 to 4 academic years in length.  Graduates must pass both final comprehensive exams in all areas of Oriental Medicine, which include basic and clinical medical sciences, and have to pass rigorous national board examinations to receive their license.
